Vual, also known as Uvall, Voval, or Vreal, is a prominent figure in demonology, revered as a Great Duke of Hell. His origins are mysterious, steeped in the ancient occult traditions that categorize him among the 72 demons listed in the Ars Goetia, a section of the grimoire known as "The Lesser Key of Solomon." As one of the powerful spirits under the command of Hell, Vual’s abilities and persona make him an entity of immense intrigue and danger to those who summon him.

When Vual first appears to a summoner, he takes the form of an enormous dromedary, a one-humped camel known for its endurance and strength. This striking and intimidating image serves as a reminder of the ancient, desert-bound origins of his power. However, Vual’s initial form is not permanent. After his manifestation as a dromedary, he quickly assumes a human shape, allowing him to communicate more clearly with the conjurer. In this human guise, Vual speaks in the Egyptian tongue, a language that symbolizes both his connection to ancient wisdom and his profound mystery. The Egyptian language, associated with magic and esoteric knowledge, hints at Vual's deep well of arcane power.

Among his most notable abilities, Vual is said to procure the love of women for those who summon him. This suggests a seductive and persuasive influence, enabling the summoner to attract romantic attention or deepen existing relationships. In addition to his talent for kindling love, Vual is a master of discernment. He has the power to see into the past, present, and future, offering a comprehensive understanding of time and events. Those who seek knowledge of what has been, what is, and what is to come may call upon Vual for insights into their lives and the world around them.

Perhaps one of his most unusual and powerful gifts is his ability to foster peace and harmony, even between the bitterest of enemies. Vual can excite friendship between foes, mending broken relationships and healing rifts that seem insurmountable. This attribute places him in a unique position among demons, as his powers can be used for reconciliation and peace, despite his association with darker forces. Summoners who wish to resolve conflicts or encourage unity may find Vual’s influence invaluable.

In terms of his rank and status in the infernal hierarchy, Vual is of the Order of Powers. The Powers are angelic beings in traditional Christian theology, but like many angels, some fell from grace during Lucifer’s rebellion. Vual, as one of these fallen angels, retains his authority and influence, though now in the service of Hell. His high rank as a Great Duke signifies his importance and the breadth of his dominion in the infernal realms.

Summoning Vual is not without risks, as with any demon of significant power. His ability to manipulate emotions, time, and relationships makes him a potent ally or a dangerous adversary. Conjurers must approach with caution, ensuring they have the knowledge and strength to command such a formidable entity. His duality, from appearing as a desert beast to a human form speaking ancient tongues, symbolizes the complexity and depth of his nature, as well as the perils of dealing with forces beyond human understanding.
